Construction Work Goes On

Construction on the second floor continues, and we are pumping water out of the hole where the septic tank sits. We are thankful to have had a couple of dry days in spite of the constant thunder and threat of rain. At the same time, our hearts go out to those in other areas that are being affected by this season's hurricanes and tropical storms. Today the citizens of Texas and Louisiana are deeply in our thoughts. On Wednesday of last week we picked up the Bradner family from the airport. Ben works in home remodeling, and Deb home schools their two boys, Kavin and Micah. They were here to do a couple of days work on the construction, and then spend some time with missionary friend Jennifer Malone Rodriguez before enjoying a couple days at one of the DR's resorts. It's quite an educational trip for the two boys, ages 12 and 7.
