Yesterday was an interesting day. We got up in the morning to find water in the floor of one of the offices. It was promptly cleaned up, but as the wind and rain from tropical storm Hanna picked up, more and more water entered our sieve-like windows! At one point I called Danny in to see a truly amazing sight. At the top of one of the windows, apparently where a screw is holding the frame to the wall, water had begun to pour in. It was not dripping in, leaking in, or trickling in. Seriously it was if we had turned on a spigot and allowed water to flow. All we could really do was stuff newspaper up there. We already have it stuffed in the tracks of all these sliding glass windows. That's where so much of the water comes in. The paper doesn't stop it all, but it does mean less mopping and flooding. Today I am seeing a bright light behind these clouds so it looks like we may have sunshine today at some point. Perhaps Hanna has finished with us. Now if we can just dry out a little bit before Hurricane Ike gets close! In the previous blog there were photos of the outside of the building where the second level is being constructed. Here are a couple from up on that second level. (Danny was willing to climb the rickety ladder and go up there with them!)

I hate you all are having water issues again.
Wow, look at those walls going up!! So good to see so much work being accomplished on the 2nd floor.
